Sardaar Gabbar Singh, released in 2016, is an Indian Telugu-language action comedy film co-written and directed by K. S. Ravindra, featuring an original story by Pawan Kalyan. As a sequel to the 2012 hit Gabbar Singh, the film stars Pawan Kalyan reprising his iconic role, with Kajal Aggarwal and Sharad Kelkar making his Telugu film debut. The storyline follows the courageous policeman Gabbar Singh (played by Kalyan) as he comes to the aid of the residents of Rathanpur, who find themselves in peril due to the ruthless Bhairav Singh (Kelkar), who has illegitimately taken over their land.
