Parugu, known as In the Name of Love in the UK, is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film penned and directed by Bhaskar. The cast features prominent actors Allu Arjun, Sheela Kaur, and Prakash Raj. Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film's music was composed by Mani Sharma, while Vijay K. Chakravarthy handled cinematography and Marthand K. Venkatesh took charge of editing. The storyline centers around Neelakanta (Prakash Raj) and his deep affection for his two daughters, Subbalakshmi (Poonam Bajwa) and Meenakshi (Sheela Kaur). The plot takes a turn when Subbalakshmi elopes with Errababu, aided by Krishna (Allu Arjun). In his quest to locate his daughter, Neelakanta captures Krishna, only for Krishna and Meenakshi to develop feelings for one another. The film unfolds as Krishna strives to gain Neelakanta’s approval for their marriage.
