Businessman is a Telugu-language action crime film released in 2012, directed and written by Puri Jagannadh. Produced by R. R. Venkat under the R. R. Movie Makers banner, the film draws inspiration from a concept by Ram Gopal Varma and features a star-studded cast, including Mahesh Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, Prakash Raj, Nassar, Sayaji Shinde, Raza Murad, Subbaraju, and Brahmaji. The storyline follows Vijay Surya, who arrives in Mumbai with ambitions of dominating the city, driven by his resentment towards the corrupt system plaguing the nation. However, he quickly finds himself embroiled in violent confrontations with law enforcement and adversaries. In 2013, the film was also remade in Bengali as Boss.
