Baahubali: The Beginning, released in 2015, is an epic Indian action film co-written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner of Arka Media Works, the film was shot in both Telugu and Tamil. It showcases Prabhas in a dual role, alongside a stellar cast that includes Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar. Serving as the first installment of a two-part series, the narrative centers on Sivudu, a daring young man who embarks on a quest to assist his beloved Avantika in rescuing Devasena, the former queen of Mahishmati, who is imprisoned by the tyrannical king Bhallaladeva. The story continues in the sequel, "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion," which was released in 2017.
